Kent County Medical Society Alliance (KCMSA)
Grants of up to $3,000 to Michigan nonprofit organizations for health and wellness programs that benefit the residents of Kent County. Funding is intended to support programs that provide medical services, medical supplies, and health education, as well as promote social welfare.
One of the goals of the Foundation is to promote the social welfare of the Grand Rapids community and its surrounding areas. Priority is given to organizations that promote the science and art of medicine and/or the betterment of public health and hygiene in the community.

Each Mini Grant request should not exceed $3,000.
Applications are received from organizations with a 501(c)3 status. Individual requests may be made through an organization that meets this requirement.
Considerations are given to requests that meet the following criteria:
- Provide health education, medical services, medical supplies;
- Promote social welfare;
- Demonstrate a relationship between the proposal and the goal of the KCMSA Foundation;
- Are located in West Michigan;
- Are under $3,000; and
- Are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
KCMSAF guidelines do not allow grant funds to be used for a paid staff position, office supplies, or office equipment.
Grant Application Deadlines are August 15, October 15, February 15, and April 15.
The Foundation Board of Directors meets four(4) times a year – September, November, March, and May. Requests must be received by the 15th of the preceding month for consideration at a grant review meeting. Applicants will be notified after that meeting regarding the status of their request.
