Awards to New Hampshire women to recognize their success and achievements in their profession, either in the business or nonprofit sector. Award recipients will have excelled as role models and leaders, and will demonstrate a strong sense of self and a success-driven work ethic, as well as extraordinary accomplishments.

In addition to the six Outstanding Women in Business, NH Business Review will present, for the third time, the Advocate for Women’s Empowerment Award (AWE Award). The AWE Award honors an individual or organization that has made a lasting impact on empowering women and girls in the Granite State. The award serves to recognize those who have made additional efforts to ensure future generations of women's success.

In addition to the six Outstanding Women in Business Awards, NH Business Review will present, for the third time, our Advocate for Women’s Empowerment Award (AWE Award).

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Nominees can be in traditional fields of business, others breaking the rules of their industries. They can be high level executives in profit-making companies, visionary entrepreneurs who are blazing new trails, or leaders of nonprofit organizations or public agencies who are truly making a difference.

Strong nominations usually include evidence that highlights the following areas:

-Overall success of nominee, including years of service, status in industry, impact, personal contributions, etc.
-Community service
-Obstacles overcome/challenges faced
-Advocacy for women
-Special/unique considerations

Such evidence can be shown through supporting documents such as letters of recommendation, published articles, press releases, photos, etc.
