Grant requests may also be made for general operating support. Eligible applicants serve Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe, and Taos counties.

Community Outreach Grants meet the Foundation's mission and vision of innovative programming, collaboration, and advocacy for lifelong learning. Early Childhood, adult learning, basic needs initiatives or community events are a few areas that fall under this category.

With all Outreach Grants, the goal is to support programs, projects, or organizations working in one or more of LANL Foundation Strategic Focus Areas:

  • Community Capacity Building
  • College, Career & Community Pathways
  • Growing and Supporting Teachers & Educational Leaders
