Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $7,500 to New Hampshire public schools for programs and projects that promote music education for students in grades K through 12. Funding will be provided to public schools for musical instruction, field trips, programs, equipment, concerts, and performances (including music licensing, professional assistance and show rights) that benefit music departments and music/voice programs.

Preference will be given to activities that reflect Mr. Brooks’ passion for light classical music examples of which include the waltzes of Johann Strauss, the works of Gilbert and Sullivan, the symphony and operettas.

This fund awards grants up to $7,500.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Public schools in New Hampshire serving grades K-12 are eligible.

Nonprofit organizations are not eligible for funding.

Public schools/school districts receiving a direct 2019 award over $7,500 from this fund are not eligible to apply.

Pre-Application Information:

GrantSource will begin accepting applications Friday, March 1, 2019.

The application deadline is Friday, April 12, 2019, 5:00 pm Eastern time.

Award decisions will be announced in late May 2019. Grants will be made through the school’s administrative unit (SAU).
