Awards to Arizona individuals or groups to recognize leadership in using or developing technology to be an extremely noteworthy asset to their businesses, other disciplines, or the State's economy as a whole. Nominees may be CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, technology innovators or advocates, as well as individuals showing significant career achievement in technology fields.
Selected winners will be featured in a special section of Phoenix Business Journal and honored at an awards celebration in May 2018.
Honors a chief executive, president or equivalent position at a technology or communications-industry company. Must be located in Arizona or have a high significant presence in Arizona.
Honors a current top IT executive (CIO, CTO or equivalent position) of a public, private or nonprofit company
Recognizes the accomplishments of a person, or group responsible for the creation of breakthrough ideas, processes or products which have advanced the discipline(s) of the arts, education, electronics, energy, engineering, environment, medicine, science, etc.
Technology Advocate/Community Hero
Recognizes a technology advocate/champion for their outstanding leadership in assisting, advancing or accelerating the performance of technology companies and/or the technology community.
Recognizes a rising young star for innovation, advancement and implementation of technology.
Recognizes a significant investment transaction occurring since January 2015 that impacts and delivers significant long-term economic prosperity and sustainable economic results for Arizona.
(Career achievement) Honors a technology visionary for outstanding leadership in assisting, advancing and accelerating the performance of the technology industry and/or adoption of technology in Arizona.

For the Investment Catalyst category, the investment transaction must have occurred since January 2015.
Any individual or group that meets the criteria of the awards categories in "Description" above may be nominated.
Not eligible: Consultants, vendors, system integrators, software developers, and others in a non-IT leadership role.
Nominations are due February 2, 2018.
Selected winners will be honored at an awards celebration in May 2018.
