Grants totaling up to $7,995 to East Mississippi nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and schools for arts programs and projects in eligible counties. Funding is intended to support innovative new programs as well as existing projects in Kemper, Neshoba, Clarke, Lauderdale, and Newton Counties.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Proposals will be accepted from nonprofit organizations and schools. Applicants must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, classified as “not a private foundation.” Governmental agencies and public charities may apply.

The Community Foundation of East Mississippi is committed to supporting organizations located throughout the Foundation's five-county East Mississippi region (Clarke, Kemper, Lauderdale, Neshoba and Newton counties). All eligible organizations in any of these five counties are encouraged to apply.

Pre-Application Information:

Deadline to Apply: March 22, 2019

The grant application must be submitted on or before the deadline. If mailing your application, it must be postmarked no later than March 22, 2019. Emailed applications must be sent before midnight March 22, 2019.

The Grant Award Announcement will be no later than the end of May 2019.
