Award of $2,500 to a Missouri individual from eligible locations to recognize outstanding contributions to the health of vulnerable populations, especially children. Criteria for the award include commitment, leadership, impact, and the creation of positive change in the local health care environment. Preference will be given to individuals who are mid-career with a commitment to continued service to vulnerable children in Missouri. In addition, a $25,000 award will be made to an organization of the recipient’s choosing. Eligible awardees must reside in the MFH region.

Estimated Size of Grant:

The award recipient will receive a personal award of $2,500, and a $25,000 award will be made to an organization of the recipient’s choosing.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The nominee must agree to participate in the selection process and must reside in the MFH region.

The organization selected by the recipient must be a nonprofit organization exempt from federal tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and must also be located in the MFH region.
