Grants of up to $10,000 to Fredonia area, Kansas nonprofit organizations, local governments, churches, and educational institutions to support a broad range of programs and projects that meet charitable needs in the local area. Applications may be submitted for consideration from the following funds:

-The Fredonia Impact Fund and Operating Fund have funding available for supporting charitable project/programs designed to meet a need of or enhance Fredonia and the surrounding communities.

-The Kansas Health Foundation Fund-Fredonia Area has funding available to underwrite solutions to local health issues and for the protection and promotion of the health and well-being of individuals and their communities through the encouragement of healthy lifestyles, behaviors, and environments.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Funding requests should not exceed $10,000.

Term of Contract:

The project/program must be completed by May 29, 2020, unless other considerations are shared prior to project/program completion.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Qualified applicants must possess a 501(c)(3) status under the Internal Revenue Service code, be exempt under statute (i.e. educational institution, church, a city, or county), or be formally linked to an organization with such designation.

Pre-Application Information:

The Foundation will begin accepting applications on 7/01/2019.

The grant application must be submitted by 5:00 PM CST on Friday, July 26, 2019. Upon review by the FACF Grant Selection Committee, additional information may be requested for clarification.
