Awards to Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee chief financial officers to recognize outstanding performances in financial management for a company with headquarters located in the Mid-South or Memphis area. Awards will be given for public and private companies, nonprofits, and lifetime achievement.
A panel of independent judges will determine the winners based on outstanding performance for their companies during the fiscal or calendar last three years (2015, 2016, 2017) and 2018 projection. Criteria will include:
- Financial management: Demonstrated contribution to the company's growth and/or profitability, best practices, complexity of transactions, with quantitative examples.
- Company Leadership: Demonstrated team leadership and superior management
- Strategic thinking: Ideas of initiatives that strengthened the company's strategic market position; success in overcoming business challenges or barriers.
- Contributions outside the company (nonprofit work, community involvement, etc.) will also be considered.
Finalists will be featured in a special publication in the October 26th issue of the Memphis Business Journal, and will be recognized at a special awards breakfast on Friday, October 19th at the Holiday Inn University of Memphis.

Nominees must be a Chief Financial Officer or hold an equivalent position at a local company or organization.
Nominee's company must be headquartered in the Memphis or Mid-South area.
Nomination deadline: August 20, 2018

Multiple nominations by a company for the same nominee are not needed.
