Grants to East Mississippi nonprofit organizations and government programs for pet and animal welfare and safekeeping projects. Organizations should be in Lauderdale, Newton, Clarke, Neshoba, and Kember Counties. Priority is given to organizations with spay or neuter programs for rescued dogs and cats before being adopted.

This endowment was established to memorialize Lucky, who had been rescued as a small puppy and grew to become a beloved family pet. Lucky's Legacy Endowment will offer grants to organizations that support pet and animal safekeeping and welfare causes in East Mississippi.
