NORCAL Group Foundation
Grants ranging from $5,000 to $30,000 to USA nonprofits in multiple states for programs that focus on patient safety and healthcare, and physician wellness. Successful applications are those that show alignment with the focus areas and mission of the funding source. In addition, applications should exhibit defined goals and objectives, including expected milestones and outcomes.
Eligible states include: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, DC, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Organizations seeking funding must qualify as exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Applications are open to eligible organizations in 39 states and the District of Columbia.
NORCAL GROUP Foundation does not fund:
- Individuals seeking personal assistance or scholarships
- Fundraising event scholarship
- Projects seeking to promote religious or political objectives
- Construction, building enhancements or refurbishment
- General operating costs, equipment or capital campaigns
If not a current NORCAL policyholder, applicants must be referred by a NORCAL Insured, Agent/Broker or Employee.
