Grants of up to $10,000 to Missouri nonprofit organizations, government entities, school districts, and churches in eligible regions to address community needs. Focus areas include but are not limited to health and wellness, education, culture, family, environment, and economic development. Applicants must serve the Nixa area.

The Nixa Community Foundation works to improve the quality of life for individuals in the Nixa area through thoughtful grantmaking and community leadership. The Nixa Community Foundation has a continuing interest in supporting institutions and projects which provide vital community services; however, the Community Foundation also has an interest in

  • Projects that provide innovative solutions for existing and emerging community needs.
  • Projects which encourage collaboration between local organizations.

Applicants may apply for up to $10,000 in funding for this grant cycle.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

501(c)(3) organizations or other IRS approved entities (government entities, school districts, and churches) serving the Nixa area are eligible to apply.

In awarding grants, affiliates of the CFO will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status. Grantees must not, in the use of CFO grant funds, discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status either in its employment practices or in its policies and procedures concerning access to services.
