Washington Business Journal (WBJ)
Awards to Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC individuals in the Washington, DC area to honor leaders in the human resources field. Eligible candidates for these awards are established leaders in the field that demonstrate outstanding performance and a strong record of innovation.
WBJ is looking for HR professionals who made a specific, tangible impact on their workplace in the last year and have a track record of using their role to make their offices productive, creative and safe environments for all employees.
Nominees should work for a business or organization based in D.C. or one of the following jurisdictions:
City of Alexandria, Va.
City of Falls Church, Va.
Arlington County, Va.
Fairfax County, Va.
Loudoun County, Va.
Prince William County, Va.
Montgomery County, Md.
Prince George's County, Md.
Nominations should include as much detail as possible about a nominee's specific business accomplishments.

This award will be given to three of Greater Washington's top human resources leaders.
Nominees must be residents of the Washington area who are employed in the region and work within the human resources field.
Self-nominations are welcome.
All submissions must be received no later than March 8, 2019.
Winners will be asked to participate in an interview and possible photo shoot and are required to attend the Best Places to Work event on May 16, 2019 to accept their award.
