Grants and Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International individuals to encourage education and research in STEM fields. Funding is intended to support the enrichment, research, mentorship, and educational development of emerging scientists, mathematicians, and engineers who lack traditional institutional support through financial grants and mentorship opportunities.

The Spirit of Ramanujan Math STEM Talent Initiative strives to find undiscovered STEM talent around the world.

The Spirit of Ramanujan STEM Talent Initiative presents two types of awards:

  • Templeton-Ramanujan Development Awards: Books and monetary grants to offset the cost of online resources.
  • Templeton-Ramanujan Fellowships: Monetary grants to offset the costs of approved 2019 enrichment programs (not including high school or college tuition).

Award winners may also choose to study with expert mentors in their field of choice.

Individuals planning to participate in research programs around the world, or individual research with an approved sponsor in STEM subjects are eligible to apply.
