Assets for Artists (A4A), MASS MoCA, ArtBuilt, City of Boston - Office of Arts and Culture, Boston Cultural Council, Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation, and Midas Collaborative
Matching grants of $1,000 and $2,000 to Boston, Massachusetts artists in all disciplines to strengthen their creative careers. Funding is intended to help with the development of artistic practices and to increase long-term career sustainability. Funds can be used as working capital and to match an artist's saving progress.
The program includes two levels of grants, the higher of which is available for eligible low-income artists. In addition, grantees will receive free professional development services, including artist-tailored workshops on financial management and business planning, and free one-on-one coaching to help artists succeed in reaching their savings goal and develop a solid plan to invest their savings and grant funds.

Artists/creative entrepreneurs in all disciplines and financial circumstances are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a home or studio address in the City of Boston. Boston-based artists/makers motivated to improve their professional practices and to make investments aimed at strengthening their artistic career, are encouraged to apply.
