Grants of up to $1,000 to USA elementary school faculty members for programs to teach students about automobiles. Funding is intended to support the implementation and creation of vehicle-related programs in the classroom. Eligible programs will demonstrate creativity in bringing the automotive aftermarket to life through STEM/STEAM-related programming.
The mission and spirit of the program is "to inspire youth to participate in the automotive customization lifestyle by promoting or creating hands-on and virtual experiences." The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) intends to get young people more excited about the automotive hobby to encourage them to think about how they might customize or personalize their vehicle in the future.
