Awards to Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC military veterans who are business leaders in the greater DC area for excellence in business and for workplace support of other veterans. One company owned by a veteran will also be honored. Awardees will be honored at an awards breakfast. Veterans of foreign military forces will also be considered.

Eligibility requirements: Honorees must be residents of the Greater Washington area and employed in the region.
Honorees must be veterans, combat veterans, retired veterans, or those currently on reserve status in the U.S. military, or a veteran owned company.
The WBJ defines "Greater Washington" as D.C. and the following jurisdictions: City of Alexandria, City of Falls Church, Arlington County, Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and Prince William County in Virginia; and Montgomery County and Prince George's County in Maryland.
Nomination Deadline: March 29, 2019
Honorees will be recognized at a sit down awards breakfast on Thursday, June 27, 2019 where attendees will also hear from keynote speaker, Master Sargent Cedrick King.
