Grants to New Mexico nonprofit and for-profit organizations for programs and projects that advance statewide economic development. Funding is intended for activities that promote New Mexico as a good place in which to live and conduct business. The purpose of the grant is to advance innovation and economic development around the state.

Taking a broad-based approach, each year, a diverse group of recipients is chosen including educational and innovation labs and business incubators and economic development groups throughout the state, as well as groups that promote economic development through non-traditional economic development programs that are critical to the culture and lifestyle that makes New Mexico unique.
