Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $25,000 to Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations in eligible regions for collaborative projects that benefit local communities. Applicants must submit an LOI prior to submitting a final application. Funding is intended to support partnerships between organizations and local businesses with the goal of creating positive environmental and social impact in local communities. Projects must benefit residents of Lancaster County.

The CBO Business Partnership program supports substantial and strategic partnerships between private sector/community benefit organization (CBO)  and businesses in order to deliver a greater combined impact.  CBOs and their business partners will engage in a four-session workshop series over 8 months to gain valuable knowledge and experience through collective discussion and other learning opportunities.

While the aim of the grant opportunity is to allow for social innovation and idea general from within the community, the Foundation is deliberately placing minimal parameters around what partnerships might entail. They are issuing a challenge for the best ideas connecting the operations and goals of a business to doing intentional good in Lancaster County, involving a CBO's mission and work in the delivery. For examples of eligible projects, see https://www.lancfound.org/wp-content/uploads/2020-CBO-Business-info-sheet-print-out.pdf#page=4
