Grants of up to $3,000 to Newton, Kansas nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, churches, and municipal and county governments for health projects benefiting local residents. Funding is intended to support programs that address health concerns of the local community, promote and protect the well-being and health of its citizens, and encourage healthy behaviors, lifestyles, and environments.

Funding requests should not exceed $3,000.
The project/program must be completed by Friday, February 28, 2020, unless other considerations are shared prior to project/program completion.
Qualified applicants must possess a 501(c)(3) status under the Internal Revenue Service code, be exempt under statute (i.e. educational institution, church, a city or county), or be formally linked to an organization with such designation. Management of the organization should be in the hands of reliable, ethical, and experienced personnel.
This grant is specifically for projects and programs that support the Newton, KS residence.
The Newton Area Health Grant is opening on Thursday, April 4, 2019. Deadline Date for application submission (CST Time Zone): Friday, 4/26/2019, 5:00 PM.
All applications must be submitted online.
Applicant organizations (awarded or denied) will be notified by Friday, May 31, 2019.
