Opportunity for Utah nonprofit, for-profit, and hybrid organizations to pitch sustainable, creative ideas that benefit the state residents. Selected applicants may receive support for their proposals in the form of grants, loans, or mentorship. Investments will be considered for projects that aim to improve the quality of life for Utahns.

Finalists from the Call for Investments will be invited to pitch to the Investment Committee on June 12, 2020, at Kiln Lehi. The Investment Committee may consider loans, grants, or mentorship for proposals with a core focus on creating positive social change.

All proposals must meet the following criteria:

  1. Utah-based: Must operate for the benefit of Utahns.
  2. Innovative: Must demonstrate a novel approach to solving a social problem.
  3. Sustainable: Must include a sustainable funding model.
  4. Impactful: Must describe the positive impact of your proposal and how impact will be measured.

Investments will be considered in nonprofit, for-profit, and hybrid organizations committed to improving the quality of life for Utahns.

Pre-Application Information:

The Community Foundation of Utah is pleased to announce a Call for Investments for the Social Investors Forum on June 12, 2020.

After submitting a simple screening form by no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 6th, chosen participants will be invited to complete the full application. Finalists will pitch at the Social Investors Forum on June 12th.

Note: The health and safety of Social Investors Forum participants is of utmost importance. Should COVID-19 be of concern in June, The Community Foundation of Utah plans to postpone the Social Investors Forum or hold it remotely. The event will still take place and the Foundation will provide updates closer to the event as necessary.
