Grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 and grants of $7,500 to Pike County, Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations for projects and programs that benefit the local community. Funding is intended to support local arts, cultural events, and festivals; to enhance and maintain Milford public spaces; for medical programs and research; and for the prevention of homosexual intolerance and domestic violence.

Funding Criteria:
Geographic preference will be given to non-profit organizations within the greater Pike community or to those that provide programs and services to the residents of the area.

This year, grants ranging from $500-$5000 (with two qualifying for $7,500) will be awarded.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

All grants must be issued to the final recipient nonprofit organization that will actually administer the program or perform the service.

Organizations requesting support must have a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable status under the Internal Revenue Code. Consideration will be given to organizations that demonstrate active board leadership, comprehensive resource development plans which include income-generating activities, resource sharing, special support from individuals, and an efficient and effective administration of funds and programs.

Organizations may be sponsored by another not-for-profit organization with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable status under the Internal Revenue Code. In this case, your grant application must include a letter from the organization confirming its fiscal sponsorship. Awarded grant dollars will be issued to the sponsoring organization.

Greater Pike Community Foundation does not grant to:
- Individuals
- Religious programs of churches or other sectarian organizations
- Political parties, campaigns, or candidates

Pre-Application Information:

The Foundation will accept complete applications until 5:00PM on July 31, 2019; it will not review incomplete applications. Applicants should expect an email acknowledging receipt of their proposals within two business days of submission.
