Awards to Montana individuals and companies in Park and Gallatin Counties to recognize outstanding achievements. Funding is intended to acknowledge exceptional innovation, business performance, leadership, and contributions to economic development. The five award categories are as follows:

- Innovator of the Year: A business or individual recognized for creating new, innovative, sustainable, or value-added projects or services, or an innovative business model
- Entrepreneur of the Year: An individual recognized for exceptional performance with his or her early-stage business
- Montana Women's Business Center Award of Excellence: A man or woman business owner or company recognized for exceptional leadership and performance as a champion of the WBC and the small business community
- Economic Leadership Award: An individual leader (from government, nonprofit, or business) who has made a significant contribution to the economic development in the area
- Business of the Year: An established business (in business at least five years recognized for significant contributions to the economic development in the area.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Award nominations may be submitted by representatives from any company or organization to Prospera Business Network.

For the Business of Year Award, the nominee must be in business at least five year.

The Economic Leadership Award may be given to a leader from government, nonprofit or business.

Pre-Application Information:

Nomination form must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2019.

Applicants may self-nominate, or collaborate with a nominee on the nomination details. Multiple award nominations are welcome; please submit separate forms for each nomination.

Award finalists in each category will be notified in early to mid-September and will be recognized at the event. Winners in each category will be announced during the awards program the evening of the event, Friday, November 8th, 2019. Winners must be present at the event, or agree to arrange for a representative to attend on their behalf.
