Bell Media - Harold Greenberg Fund (HGF)
Grants of $20,000 to Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut filmmaking teams to produce short films. Funding is intended to showcase new visions and to provide a career advancement opportunity. Priority is given to emerging talent. Films may be of any genre except documentary.
One person can fulfill more than one role, but single persons fulfilling all roles of writer/producer/director are encouraged to have at least another dedicated producer on board in order to apply. Filmmaking teams may attach a more experienced executive producer to the project, although it is not a requirement.
Projects must be short films between 5 and 10mins and must adhere to CAVCO-certified can-con regulations.
Projects in all languages are eligible, although submissions material must be submitted in English.
