Grants to British Columbia nonprofit organizations, businesses, government agencies, educational and public health institutions, and tribal entities in eligible areas to address homelessness during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis. Programs must take place within the municipal boundaries of the City of Kamloops.
The Government of Canada’s Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy (Reaching Home) is a community-based program aimed at preventing and reducing homelessness. It will provide direct funding to urban, Indigenous, rural, and remote communities to help them address their local homelessness needs. Funded is provided by the Government of Canada’s Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy.

There is no restriction or maximum on the amount of funding an applicant may request. The quantity and quality of proposals received will determine the number of projects funded and the amount of funding each project receives.
All funding must be spent between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2024.
