Grants of up to $25,000 to California Jewish nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to build capacity and support programs that promote inclusion and diversity. Funding is intended to support activities that address barriers to inclusion, particularly among Jews of Color. The Federation seeks to focus on efforts that build diverse, equitable, and inclusive Jewish communities throughout the Bay Area. Grant funds may be used to hire consultants, dedicate staff time, convene stakeholders, conduct training, or other activities in alignment with the guidelines.

This work requires intentionality and purpose. In addition to funding, grantees will participate in a Community of Practice facilitated by The Jewish Social Justice Roundtable to allow for support, exchange of ideas, collaborative problem solving, shared learning, and potential cross-organizational collaboration.
