Grants to Washington government health centers, Urban Indian dental programs, and nonprofit dental clinics for assistance in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Funding may be used for operational expenses and new equipment to provide clinics that serve uninsured and Medicaid patients with the ability to sustain operations.

Grant funds can be used for:

  1. Operational sustainability of existing dental clinics including dental clinic overhead costs, needs, and staff retention.
  2. New equipment to address COVID-19 related needs (e.g. intra-oral camera for teledentistry services, patient and provider safety, including PPE, etc.)

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for an Arcora Foundation Safety Net Support Grant, the organization/request must meet the following criteria:
- Tax Status. Applicant must be one of the following:
- Public charity with tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
- Public or governmental entity such as a school or health district
- Location. Organization must have a physical presence in Washington.
- Request. The funds requested must be used for the following areas (additional information can be found in FAQs):
- Operational sustainability of existing dental clinics and/or new equipment to address COVID-19 related needs
- Dental clinics that predominantly serve Medicaid or uninsured patients in Washington
- Financial Information. Applicant must submit or have on file with Arcora Foundation:
- Current W-9
- Direct Deposit Authorization

What will grant funds not support?
Expansion of existing dental clinics or construction of new dental clinics; support or expansion of dental education programs.

Pre-Application Information:

Priority will be given to applications received by May 26, 2020, but applications will be considered on a rolling basis after that time.

First-round funding will be distributed in early June 2020.
