Grants of up to $5,000 to Oregon small businesses in eligible locations for support during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis. Funding is intended to assist local businesses that have incurred unexpected expenses due to the pandemic. Funds may also be used for future expenses, such as installing additional safety measures or providing services in a new way due to social distancing constraints. Eligible businesses are located in the City of Philomath.

The maximum award for each business is capped at $5,000, with a $1,000 minimum award.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Philomath businesses of 15 or fewer employees that have incurred COVID-19 related expenses are eligible to apply.

To qualify for assistance, a business must:
- Complete this application and provide a copy of their W-9
- Be located within the city limits of Philomath
- Have no more than 15 Full-time equivalent, non-owner employees as of March 1, 2020
- Have no delinquent city-related fees or code enforcement fines
- Agree to provide a letter to the City stating that all funds provided were used for necessary expenditures incurred due to the public health emergency with respect to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID–19) incurred between March 1, 2020 and December 30, 2020.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications are due to the city by 5:00 p.m. September 25, 2020, following which the Finance/ Administration Committee will review the applications and decide on grant awards.
