Grants of up to $5,000 to Texas nonprofit community organizations in eligible locations for projects that positively impact women's health. Funding is intended for programs and activities that enhance the well-being and overall health of local women. Programs or projects that serve women of all ages are eligible for consideration. Eligible applicants serve the regional Amarillo community.

The primary focus areas of the Foundation:

  • Cancer: HCHF is interested in initiatives that focus on providing the region with quality cancer care, cancer prevention, cancer detection, supportive care, and survivorship.
  • Community Health: HCHF is interested in funding initiatives that will improve the health and welfare of the community. Priority will be given to programs and projects that address the top identified health concerns of the community and which will show the greatest promise for successful implementation.

Areas include, but not limited to:

  • Access to Care
  • Behavioral Health
  • Chronic Disease Management and Prevention

Pre-Application Information:

The Women’s Circle will be accepting grant requests beginning on September 28, 2020. Applications are due by Friday, October 16, 2020.

Before applying, applicants are encouraged to contact the Foundation for guidance on their proposed funding request.

Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee and a recommendation will be sent to and voted on by the Circle Membership before the quarterly meeting on November 12, 2020. Successful applicants will be notified before this meeting.
