Grants to USA medical, dental, nursing, and pharmacy schools, healthcare institutions, professional associations, medical societies, and medical education companies for educational projects related to eating disorders in older adults. Funding is intended to conduct a thorough educational needs assessment in geriatric anorexia. The target audience for this grant is primary care physicians, including nursing and physician assistants; geriatricians; long-term care HCPs; and nutritionists.
Projects with a detailed and timely publication plan will be prioritized, as it is Pfizer’s intent for the results of the needs assessment to be shared with the entire medical community in order to enhance future medical education programs that eliminate barriers and close gaps experienced by HCPs.
