Cincinnati Business Courier and Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber
Awards to Ohio qualifying businesses in eligible locations to recognize outstanding contributions to inclusion, diversity, and equity in the workplace. Nominations will be accepted for minority- and women-owned businesses that demonstrate equitable practices, policies, advocacy, and partnerships in Cincinnati.
Together the Cincinnati Business Courier and the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, with its nationally recognized Minority Business Accelerator, celebrate and elevate the important contributors in ensuring a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable Cincinnati business community.
These awards celebrate businesses that help the region achieve greater heights of success enriching the region and navigating their way as leading MBE or WMBE. They are building a diverse workforce, championing equitable policies and practices and developing inclusive cultures.
Nominations will be accepted for Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women Minority Business Enterprises (WMBEs) that showcase successful efforts with measurable business success in making their business more equitable and inclusive. Award categories are purposely broad-based so that nominees of any scale can provide vivid stories of people, programs, practices, policy, and partnerships that have increased diversity, promoted equity, and advanced full inclusion.
Potential areas to consider are demonstrating best practices; transforming workplace cultures; developing innovative or equitable human resources policies; advocating for transformational policy change (in government); bridging cultural divides; promoting supplier diversity; leveraging employee resource groups; practicing inclusive capitalism to drive more inclusive & successful workplaces; catalyzing community impact; or advancing gender or racial equity.
