GrantWatch CEO and Founder Libby Hikind was featured on CBS12 last night, to talk about GrantWatch’s initiative to list Covid-19 grants that are available throughout the entire country (and around the world). This prioritizing of these grants came as the Covid-19 pandemic has ramped up its impact throughout the globe, with numbers of infected people, impacted business and nonprofits, and unemployment all rising to frightening levels.
It’s crucial to have leadership in this space, and Libby knows what it means to respond to a disaster. When 9/11 hit, she was down at ground zero within days with a mask on delivering food to firefighters who were searching for people in the aftermath of the terror. And now, as disaster strikes again, Libby has pivoted the focus of all of GrantWatch’s hard-working researchers to focus on the Covid-19 pandemic, continually updating our database to ensure that our subscribers have access to the information they need. In addition to that, this nonprofit-focused online newspaper, (GrantNews) if focused on capturing stories going on throughout the world to keep all of our readers informed as we learn more information about the crisis. All of this will remain a priority for the entire GrantWatch team.
GrantWatch is committed to helping ensure that nonprofits and small businesses have the proper information about grants that have been made available as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, and our team is consistently updating this list to reflect any updates available.
