8 Small Business Grants for Women and Minority Entrepreneurs

Small business owners are, in many ways, an embodiment of the independence and determination of the American spirit. All Americans deserve an equal opportunity to pursue the American dream. However, entrepreneurs often face many challenges when starting a new business, and women and minorities frequently face even greater obstacles.

For this reason, many foundations provide minority and women small business owners with entrepreneurial support and opportunities. Today, we’re featuring eight grants that are dedicated to closing the gap for women and minority entrepreneurs. These grants range from accelerator and mentoring programs to funding for business expansion.
