National Give a Bunch of Balloons Month

The month of June celebrates National Give a Bunch of Balloons Month. This cause aims to bring joy to children battling an illness or struggling with a life-altering diagnosis. While it may not be a cure, balloons brighten the day of a sick child and add a distraction from their mundane reality.

Unfortunately, the leading cause of death for children under the age of ten, is cancer, congenital malformations, deformations, and chromosomal abnormalities. While this is a sad reality, the support of businesses and organizations, help to build advocacy for terminally ill children. Marking its second year recognized in the US, National Give a Bunch of Balloons Month shines awareness on important health issues.
