Scholarships and Fellowships: A Pathway to Higher Education Funding
Scholarships and fellowships provide a stable pathway to higher education for students who lack funding but have the strong desire to expand their horizons. For students pursuing a college education, these grant funding opportunities offer the financial support needed to turn ambition into achievement. Scholarships

3. Low-Income Individuals
Grants and scholarships to USA nonprofit organizations and individuals in multiple states to expand educational opportunities for individuals who cannot afford them.
4. Active Duty Military and Recently Discharged Veterans
Scholarships to active duty military and recently discharged veterans to attend a business-related continuing education course. Funding assists veterans in a successful transition to private-sector employment in the professions: crisis management, disaster recovery, emergency response, and business continuity.
5. College Freshmen for Full-Time Studies
Scholarships of $5,000 to high school seniors and university and college students in their freshman year for full-time studies. Funding helps students attain academic goals and to support their chosen fields of undergraduate study. Funding helps to subsidize the costs of certifications or vocational training.
6. Training for Health and Wellness Careers
Scholarships up to $5,000 to Alaska residents to participate in vocational training for health-related and human services nonprofit management fields.
7. Students Diagnosed with ASD
Scholarships of $500 to students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) for financial assistance to attend college. Applicants will be recent high school graduates, current undergraduate students, and students currently enrolled in an accredited autism school program.
8. Educational Israel Programs
Scholarships to Pennsylvania Jewish students to participate in qualifying educational Israel programs. Scholarships assist with tuition or costs of formal Israel experiences organized through an approved provider or an approved program of study.
9. Attorney General’s Office for Staff Scholarships
Grants to Maryland law enforcement agencies, state’s attorney’s offices, and the attorney general’s office to provide scholarships to staff members for continued learning opportunities.
10. Participate in Programs in Israel
Grants and scholarships to Jewish young adults to attend a study, service, or career development program in Israel. Funding provides financial assistance for study abroad, volunteer, internship, teaching, and graduate programs.
Fellowships
1. Fellowships for Spanish-American Art Projects!
Grants of up to $25,000 and fellowships of $50,000 and $65,000 to scholars for arts projects and research for the Spanish Americas. Funding is to further the understanding of the art and history of the Spanish Americas, and for travel to conduct research on the topic.
2. Scholars to Pursue Humanities Research!
Fellowships of $70,000 to scholars to pursue humanities research. The purpose of the programs is for scholars to benefit from the funding source’s resource library to pursue their research objectives. Fellowships will be conducted onsite at the Funder’s institute, as well as offsite.
3. Nephrology Medical Research and Clinical Care Studies!
Fellowships of up to $90,000 to clinical scientists for nephrology medical research projects. Funding supports full-time fellows in a scholarly environment, providing salary, training, and equipment expenses. Fellows will be individuals who have completed their residency.
4. Develop Clean and Sustainable Energy Solutions!
Fellowships to graduate students to participate in projects to develop clean and sustainable energy. The program is for fellows to create smart climate and energy solutions. Fellowships will be remote, hybrid, and on-site.
5. Short-Term Humanities Studies Projects!
There are fellowships to scholars to pursue humanities projects at an Illinois institute. Funding is for short-term research. Researchers will spend one to two months investigating collection items.
6. Native American Artists to Advance Artistic Talent!
There are fellowships up to $3,000 to Native American artists to advance their work and strengthen their artistic talent. In addition to on-campus housing and a monthly stipend, fellows will also receive travel reimbursement and an allowance for supplies and studio space.
7. Fellowships to Scholars to Conduct Historical Research!
Fellowships to scholars to conduct historical research about the history of the United States and the Atlantic world. Applications will be for dissertation fellowships, postdoctoral fellowships, and short-term fellowships.
8. Fellowships to Researchers for Studies in Reproductive Biology!
There are fellowships to researchers to study reproductive biology in mammals and its relation to fertility regulation. Funding supports early-career teachers and researchers to pursue their careers with the goal of being independently funded in their field. Eligible expenses include fringes, institutional overhead, and stipends.
9. Fellowships to Graduate Students for the Opportunity to Study Abroad!
Fellowships to graduate students for opportunities to study abroad. Students will study cultures and languages in eligible foreign countries. The purpose of the program is to offer students the opportunity to gain knowledge that will assist them with future government careers.
10. Biomedical Research Projects!
Lastly, fellowships to postdoctoral researchers to conduct biomedical research projects. Funding supports fundamental scientific research into the causes, cures, and treatments for cancer and other diseases. In addition to a fellowship stipend, fellows will receive funding for research expenses, travel costs, relocation expenses, and supplemental dependent expenses.
