Start Giving Back with These Five Grants for National Philanthropy Day

National Philanthropy Day is an annual holiday celebrating the charitable work done by people all over the United States. It is a day to recognize the importance of working together for the common good and to encourage others to join in as well. Overall, it is important to remember that philanthropy can take many forms. The holiday is not just for big organizations. Everyone can participate in National Philanthropy Day no matter on how small of a scale.

Here are some ways to celebrate the day:

  • Donate. Know an organization doing amazing work in your community? Help them fundraise or give a donation to help them continue their work.
  • Give a shout out on social media. Bring awareness to National Philanthropy Day by also sharing posts on social media. Encourage friends and families to contribute to your favorite organization or nonprofit.
