{"id":1357,"date":"2020-05-21T17:37:19","date_gmt":"2020-05-21T21:37:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/blog\/?p=1357"},"modified":"2025-04-23T11:02:39","modified_gmt":"2025-04-23T15:02:39","slug":"the-creative-side-of-covid-19-use-face-masks-to-express-your-creativity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grantnews\/the-creative-side-of-covid-19-use-face-masks-to-express-your-creativity\/","title":{"rendered":"The Creative Side of COVID-19: Use Face Masks to Express your Creativity."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Center for Disease Control (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/prevent-getting-sick\/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CDC<\/a>) recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the CDC, a simple cloth face coverings will slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Cloth face coverings fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost can be used as an additional, voluntary public health measure.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>People listened to the CDC&#8217;s advice and kicked it up a notch. Since face masks have become commonplace, the creative types among us are putting their creative spin on masks.
