Technology has also made learning more interactive and engaging and has allowed people to have instant knowledge with the touch of a button. In fields like science or medicine, technology has improved the care of patients and allowed more research to be completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether education, healthcare or communication, technology has improved many aspects of existence. Because of its importance, there are many initiatives in progress centered on giving people more access to technology and promoting technology innovation. However, those initiatives require funding, which is why grants can be crucial to keeping these advancements going. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/grantwatch.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GrantWatch<\/a> has a category for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grants-filter.php?recipient_id%5B%5D=1&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=2&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=3&amp;category_id%5B%5D=36\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">technology-related grants<\/a> in its database. These grants can do anything from providing technology to students, to funding research related to technological innovation. Below are seven of these technology-related grants that are available across the United States. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technology Grants to Make the World a Better Place<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Grants of up to $30,000 to U.S. colleges and universities to <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/164694\/grants-to-usa-ihes-to-enhance-science-and-technology-in-the-curriculum.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">promote science and technology<\/a> innovation and entrepreneurship. Applicants must receive institutional approval prior to applying.&nbsp;<\/li><li> There are also in-kind <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/194278\/in-kind-grants-of-software-and-services-to-usa-canada-and-international-k-schools-and-ihes-for-technology-improvements.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">grants of software and services<\/a> to U.S., Canada, and International K-12&#8217;s and IHE&#8217;s for technology improvements. Awardees of these grants will be provided provide software licenses, technical support, and implementation services to students. <\/li><li>There are grants for U.S. doctoral students for <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/175917\/grants-to-usa-doctoral-candidates-for-educational-research-related-to-stem-policy.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">educational research related to STEM policy<\/a>. Funding for these grants are to go to professional development and high-level research on STEM-related educational issues. <\/li><li>And there are grants available to U.S. nonprofits, agencies, for-profits, IHEs and individuals for <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/174409\/grants-to-usa-nonprofits-ihes-agencies-for-profits-and-individuals-for-technical-education-programs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">technical education<\/a>. <\/li><li>There is funding available to U.S. nonprofits, for-profits, IHE&#8217;s, agencies, and individuals for <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/178435\/in-kind-donations-of-computers-to-usa-nonprofits-to-address-the-needs-of-underserved-populations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">research on technology-based learning<\/a>. <\/li><li>There is a grant for <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/178435\/in-kind-donations-of-computers-to-usa-nonprofits-to-address-the-needs-of-underserved-populations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in-kind donations of computers<\/a> to U.S. nonprofits to address the needs of underserved populations. <\/li><li>Finally, there are grants available to USA nonprofits and schools for <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/178255\/grants-to-usa-nonprofits-and-schools-for-youth-led-projects-that-utilize-technology-to-address-environmental-issues.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">youth-led projects that use technology<\/a> to address environmental issues. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Technology is always evolving and with every advancement, it has become an even greater part of everyday life.
