As the power of phones increased with processing chips, internet connectivity, and touchscreens, so have the apps that are available. Not only do today&#8217;s apps keep us connected and organized, but they also use customization to fit our ever-changing lifestyles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To celebrate #NationalAppDay, GrantWatch is sharing these 5 technology grants:<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/162992\/grants-to-alabama-nonprofits-for-the-marketing-and-promotion-of-tourism-opportunities.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Grants of up to $5,000<\/a><\/strong> are available for marketing to promote travel and tourism opportunities within the state of Alabama. This funding will help defray costs associated with brochures, websites, smartphone apps, and advertising. <\/li><li>Grants to nonprofit and public <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/185138\/grants-to-usa-healthcare-providers-to-enhance-communications-technology-in-rural-areas.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rural healthcare providers<\/a><\/strong> to improve and upgrade communications technology. This funding is to support health service providers and improve their ability to offer quality medical care through increased connectivity. <\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/181079\/grants-and-in-kind-services-to-usa-ihes-to-assist-students-in-the-development-of-technological-innovations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Grants of up to $20,000<\/a><\/strong> plus in-kind services are available to colleges for students to develop technological innovations with market potential. <\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/137262\/in-kind-grants-of-educational-software-to-usa-canada-and-international-teachers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">In-kind grants of software<\/a><\/strong> and training is available to educators. The purpose of this program is to give teachers access to educational software to help their students practice and master math facts. <\/li><li>Grants to businesses for the development of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/184701\/grants-to-usa-small-businesses-to-support-the-development-of-new-technologies.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new technologies<\/a><\/strong>. As of today, there are more than 3 million apps on both the Apple and Android platforms. The average smartphone user spends 90 percent of their mobile time in apps, with just the remaining 10 percent spent surfing the web. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apps will continue to change how we work, live, and play through a plethora of options for businesses, productivity, entertainment, organization, security, news, and so much more.
