Grants are a great way for teachers to get money for their classrooms to provide their students with quality education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/grantwatch.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GrantWatch<\/a> has a grant category on its site specifically for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grants-filter.php?recipient_id%5B%5D=Select+All&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=1&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=2&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=3&amp;category_id%5B%5D=42\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">teachers<\/a>, as well as one for<a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grants-filter.php?recipient_id%5B%5D=1&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=2&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=3&amp;category_id%5B%5D=59\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> education<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grants-filter.php?recipient_id%5B%5D=1&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=2&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=3&amp;category_id%5B%5D=9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">elementary education<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grants-filter.php?recipient_id%5B%5D=1&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=2&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=3&amp;category_id%5B%5D=31\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">secondary education<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grants-filter.php?recipient_id%5B%5D=1&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=2&amp;recipient_id%5B%5D=3&amp;category_id%5B%5D=43\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">students<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teaching can be a challenging profession. Between low wages, large class sizes, and little to no budget for teaching materials, many teachers question whether it is worth staying in the profession. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/seedscientific.com\/teaching-statistics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">National Education Association<\/a>, teachers spend a minimum of $459 every year on classroom supplies. In addition, the organization notes that most teachers work 50 hour work weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of these challenges teachers face, it is imperative that they have access to any help, such as grants. These 10 grants below provide funding for a number of classroom initiatives and projects that benefit teachers and their students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>10 Grants that Provide Funding to Teachers <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Awards to U.S. educators <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/178562\/awards-to-usa-k-teachers-and-educational-staff-to-support-creative-classroom-projects.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">for creative projects that enhance student learning<\/a>. This program is open to principals, teachers, classified staff, and paraprofessionals in K-12 private and public schools.<\/li><li>Grants to U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/169675\/grants-to-usa-teachers-to-enhance-science-technology-engineering-and-math-learning.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sixth through twelfth-grade teachers<\/a> at public and nonprofit private schools to enhance science, technology, engineering, and math learning. Funding is to introduce creative project-based learning ideas that will make STEM learning fun.<\/li><li>There are also grants of up to $750 to <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/141213\/grants-to-usa-music-instructors-for-professional-development-education-and-enrichment-opportunities.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S. and territories music teachers<\/a> for professional development activities. Funding is to support private and public studies and projects to help increase the applicant&#8217;s teaching and performing skills. <\/li><li>Opportunities are also available for <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/183585\/opportunity-for-usa-educators-to-obtain-funding-from-individuals-for-classroom-projects-to-benefit-students.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S. full-time public and public charter school educators<\/a>, including counselors, librarians, and nurses to obtain funding for projects. Examples of learning opportunities include books, technology, and field trips.<\/li><li>In-kind grants of essential school supplies to <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/172741\/in-kind-grants-of-school-supplies-to-usa-teachers-in-underserved-schools.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S. teachers in underserved schools<\/a>. With each Supply A Teacher box delivered, a teacher receives items they need for a full semester of learning.<\/li><li>Additionally, there are in-kind grants of software and training to <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/137262\/in-kind-grants-of-educational-software-to-usa-canada-and-international-teachers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S., Canada, and International educators<\/a>. The purpose of this program is to give teachers access to software that will help their students master math facts. <\/li><li>There are grants of up to $200 to <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/160167\/grants-to-usa-early-literacy-professionals-to-attend-conferences.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S. educators of grades K-3 <\/a>for professional development in early literacy. <\/li><li>There are also in-kind grants to <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/168268\/in-kind-grants-to-usa-canada-and-international-elementary-and-middle-school-educators-to-utilize-an-online-math-program.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">elementary and middle school educators <\/a>to receive access to an online math program produced by the funding source. <\/li><li>In addition, there is funding of up to $1,500 to <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/142187\/grants-to-usa-high-school-chemistry-teachers-for-opportunities-to-improve-instructional-skills-in-the-classroom.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">high school chemistry teachers <\/a>to improve instructional skills. Funding is for workshop and conference fees, travel, tuition and educational expenses, substitute teacher pay, books, and online resources.<\/li><li>Finally there are grants of $1,000 to <a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/185180\/grants-to-usa-canada-and-international-teachers-to-enhance-steam-learning.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">high school teachers<\/a>
