In honor of World Maths Day, GrantWatch will be sharing seven grants below that are specifically for math-related programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Seven Math Education Grants<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Awards of $5,000 are available to a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/160652\/award-to-a-usa-or-canada-mathematician-for-outstanding-contributions-to-k-math-education.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S. or Canada pure or applied mathematician<\/a>&nbsp;to recognize outstanding contributions to education for K-16 students. Nominees must have a Ph.D. and published research in pure or applied mathematics, as well as a record of outstanding contributions to mathematics education.<\/li><li>There are also fellowships to U.S. individuals for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/175947\/fellowships-to-usa-individuals-for-post-doctoral-research-in-mathematics-and-statistics.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">research related to mathematical disciplines<\/a>. Funding is for post-doctoral research on statistics and mathematics and to advance future leaders by providing environments that will have a great impact on scientific development.<\/li><li>In addition, grants are available to U.S., Canada, and International&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/161529\/grants-to-usa-canada-and-international-ihes-and-research-centers-for-science-and-mathematics-projects.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">educational institutions and research centers<\/a>&nbsp;for projects in the fields of physical sciences, computer science, and mathematics. This program will support high-risk theoretical mathematics, computer science, and physics of exceptional promise and scientific importance. The Foundation strongly encourages applications from scientists from underrepresented groups.<\/li><li>In-kind grants are also available to U.S., Canada, and International English-speaking&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/168268\/in-kind-grants-to-usa-canada-and-international-elementary-and-middle-school-educators-to-utilize-an-online-math-program.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">elementary and middle school educators<\/a>&nbsp;(grades 2-6) to receive access to an online math program. The program is to help students tackle challenging math concepts with more clarity, speed, and confidence.<\/li><li>There are grants of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/grantwatch.com\/grant\/137262\/in-kind-grants-of-educational-software-to-usa-canada-and-international-teachers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">software and training<\/a>&nbsp;to U.S., Canada, and International educators. The program will give teachers access to educational software that will help their students master math facts.<\/li><li>Additionally, there is funding of up to $500 for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/173167\/grants-to-usa-teachers-in-multiple-states-for-academic-projects-that-improve-student-achievement.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">individual teachers<\/a>&nbsp;in multiple states for projects to improve student achievement. Priority will go to proposals that are focused on the environment, energy efficiency, math, technology, and science.<\/li><li>Finally, there are grants to U.S.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/169675\/grants-to-usa-teachers-to-enhance-science-technology-engineering-and-math-learning.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sixth through twelfth-grade teachers<\/a>&nbsp;at public and nonprofit private schools to enhance science, technology, engineering, and math learning. Funding is to increase student success rates by introducing creative project-based learning ideas that will make STEM learning fun.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Children can sign up for the competition free of cost by going to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3plearning.com\/world-maths-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">World Maths Day website<\/a> and registering. The age restriction for the competition is from ages 4-18.
