It is marked on the 27th of January (Nisan), the Hebrew date on which the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising ended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Awards to authors for nonfiction books on Jewish subjects. Winners receive a $5,000 cash prize, marketing and promotion assistance, and customized support. Books with themes like rein\u00advent\u00ading Jew\u00adish life for the twen\u00adty-first cen\u00adtu\u00adry, shift\u00ading notions of indi\u00advid\u00adual and collec\u00adtive Jew\u00adish iden\u00adti\u00adty, and the his\u00adto\u00adry and future of Israel are eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grants to Instill Jewish Pride and Combat Discrimination<\/a><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Grants to nonprofit organizations to strengthen the relationship between the USA and Israel. Funding also covers activities that instill pride in the Jewish people and to combat discrimination, hatred, and bigotry. Funding helps to strengthen American values, support the U.S.-Israel alliance, and combat bigotry and hatred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grants for General Support and Capital Projects in Jewish Communities<\/a><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Grants to USA and Israel nonprofit organizations for a wide range of projects and programs that benefit Jewish communities. Funding is intended for capital projects, general operating support, or programming. In the United States, grants will primarily support residents in Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grants to nonprofits to benefit senior residents. Funding supports applicants that provide Jewish seniors with care and dignity. Applications should be for programs in the following focus areas: food security, social isolation, cognitive well-being, and intergenerational programming. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
