Their goal is&nbsp;to provide young people with life-changing experiences designed to broaden their global perspectives. Through this initiative, Kobe and Vanessa have sponsored international enrichment experiences for minority college students and provided domestic and international youth scholarships for the&nbsp;<strong>Kobe Bryant Basketball Academy<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The foundation strives to encourage young people to stay active through sports. It provides financial resources, develops distinctive programs and raises awareness for relevant issues in order to strengthen communities through educational and cultural enrichment opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KVBFF also operates&nbsp;<a aria-label=\"Mamba FC (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/mambafc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mamba FC<\/a>, a youth soccer club in Orange County, California. Per their mission statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p> We teach our young athletes how to become leaders and independent thinkers, while working together as a group to achieve a common goal through health and fitness. <\/p><cite> http:\/\/mambafc.com\/ <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p> The KVBFF is passionate about eradicating youth homelessness. To accomplish this goal, they partnered with a number of Los Angeles-based organizations including Step Up on Second, <a aria-label=\"My Friend\u2019s Place (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.myfriendsplace.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">My Friend\u2019s Place<\/a> and <a aria-label=\"United Way (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedway.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">United Way<\/a>.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we remember Kobe Bryant, our first thought is his basketball career. That career afforded him the opportunity to effect change by improving the lives of the underserved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Can You Continue Kobe&#8217;s Legacy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantnews.com\/category\/nonprofit\/\">nonprofit<\/a> that caters to youth and in particular youth in sports, you may fund your organization through grants.
