Supporting youth is essential for the future of our world. That may sound a bit dramatic. Yet, everyone knows that investment in our youth now will provide a valuable payoff in the future. Laying the groundwork for success is essential for continued global strength and stability, both physically and financially. GrantWatch<\/a><\/strong> believes strongly in this concept. In fact, there is a designated category specifically for Supporting Youth, especially At-Risk Youth. Currently, there are close to 600 of these listings in the directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Harvard University<\/strong><\/a>, there are 1.8 billion youth<\/em> between the ages of 10 and 24. This is the most populous age group in the world. They go on to say that today’s youth faces challenges that past generations did not. However, they also have access to technology and information that their parents didn’t. So, with the appropriate support, they can become leaders and innovators in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have a great opportunity to act now to support youth development and security. Accessing grant funding can go a long way toward supporting youth and encouraging them to seize the moment. All they need is a little help to become the agents of change they were born to be. Below is a GrantWatch list of grants, in-kind donations, and award funding, all aimed at supporting youth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grants and In-kind Donations for Youth and At-Risk Youth <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
  1. Grants to Kentucky LEAs, government agencies, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, IHEs, and faith-based organizations for programs that enhance student achievement<\/a><\/strong> in low-performing schools with high rates of poverty.<\/li>
  2. There are also grants open to individuals for pediatric cancer research<\/strong><\/a>. Funding supports scientists, researchers, professors, and doctors conducting research projects on pediatric cancer.<\/li>
  3. In addition, grants of up to $10,000 to tribal language programs<\/a><\/strong>, tribal schools and colleges, and individuals from eligible tribes for the preservation of indigenous languages. <\/li>
  4. Grants of up to $6,000<\/strong><\/a> are offered to educators in eligible states to teach youth about agriculture. Consideration will be for projects that inspire youth to engage in sustainable practices and view sustainable agriculture as a viable career option. The program prioritizes proposals from farmers, ranchers, or youth from historically underserved populations.<\/li>
  5. In addition, there is funding for Minnesota nonprofits, tribes, government agencies, schools, and health or social service organizations for initiatives to protect youth and young adults<\/a><\/strong> in eligible counties. <\/li>
  6. Also, grants of up to $25,000 to Colorado nonprofit organizations and PK-12 schools are earmarked for educational arts programming<\/a><\/strong> for children and youth.<\/li>
  7. Grants of up to $5,000 to nonprofit youth programs, schools, and organizations in eligible areas of Georgia and Tennessee for programs and projects to provide youth enrichment<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
