They ensure that our food supply is good quality, as fresh as possible, and available when needed. National Farmer’s Day is a time when we can actively pay tribute to all that our farming sector does to keep food on the table for the hundreds of millions who depend on them.     4. Grants are offered to agencies, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs), and tribes. Funding assists agricultural producers in adopting conservation practices<\/a><\/strong>. Activities benefit producers who meet EQIP program eligibility requirements. The purpose of On-Farm Trials is to stimulate the evaluation and adoption of innovative conservation approaches in partnership with agricultural producers.<\/li>
    5. There are also grants to eligible agricultural and livestock producers for research education\/demonstration projects<\/strong><\/a>. As a result, funding supports producers who are protecting natural resources, enhancing communities, and boosting profitability.<\/li>
    6. In addition, grants of up to $6,000<\/strong><\/a> to eligible educators to promote youth engagement in agriculture. Funding is for projects to inspire youth to engage in sustainable practices and view sustainable agriculture as a viable career option. Proposal priorities are for farmers, ranchers, or youth from historically underserved populations.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
