There is help from the government. According to the federal government, there is help available in the way of loan forgiveness programs. However, the programs are very specific and there are a multitude of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/pslf-infographic.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rules and qualifications<\/a><\/strong> to consider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/manage-loans\/forgiveness-cancellation\/public-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Public Loan Forgiveness<\/a><\/strong> is specific to employees of U.S. federal, state, local, or tribal government or not-for-profit organizations.<\/li><li>In addition, there are <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/manage-loans\/forgiveness-cancellation\/teacher\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Teacher Loan Forgiveness programs<\/a><\/strong> that require you to be full-time, have five years of experience, and teach in a low-income or underserved community.<\/li><li>The IHS <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihs.gov\/loanrepayment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Loan Repayment Program<\/a><\/strong> (LRP) helps clinicians pay off qualifying health profession education loans. They offer up to $50,000 in return for a two-year service commitment to work in health facilities serving American Indian and Alaska Native communities.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Paying Off Student Loans? <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you\u2019re still in college, about to finish school, already graduated, or are returning for graduate studies, it\u2019s important to be in control of your <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/financialaidtoolkit.ed.gov\/tk\/learn\/repayment.jsp#servicers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">loan repayment plan<\/a><\/strong>. Additionally, it\u2019s also good to be aware of the tips and resources you have available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Loan Officer:<\/strong> &nbsp;It\u2019s wise to keep in touch with your loan officer. They need to be up to date on things that might affect your repayment like a change of address or a return to school. They can also answer questions and help with issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Have a Plan:<\/strong> Explore your repayment options and bear in mind that you can make changes at any time. It\u2019s good to know you have choices when paying off your student loans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Consolidation:<\/strong> &nbsp;Consider consolidating your loans to streamline your payments. However, it&#8217;s essential to be aware that consolidation may result in the loss of certain benefits associated with the original loans. A Direct Consolidation Loan carries a fixed interest rate determined by averaging the interest rates of the loans being consolidated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trouble with Payments:<\/strong> Reach out to your loan officer if you\u2019re having trouble paying your student loans. The purpose is to encourage development and advancements in the 3D industry.<\/li><li>Grants to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows for research <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/206583\/grants-to-usa-and-canada-graduate-students-and-postdoctoral-fellows-for-conservation-research-in-multiple-states-and-provinces.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">related to conservation<\/a><\/strong>. Funding is to support scientific work conducted by early-career researchers in the Yellowstone to Yukon regions.<\/li><li>Scholarships to Israel students to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/167762\/scholarships-to-israel-students-to-pursue-doctoral-studies-at-usa-universities.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>pursue doctoral studies<\/strong><\/a> at U.S. universities.
