In fact, the purpose of the program is to encourage events that will have a significant economic impact.<\/li>
  5. There are grants to eligible Kansas nonprofits, and government, educational, and religious entities to enhance the quality of life<\/strong><\/a> for local residents. Moreover, focus areas include arts and culture, community beautification, conservation and environment, community social services and security, and healthcare. Funding is for grants to distribute for charitable projects through a competitive application process.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    5. Also, grants up to $10,000<\/strong><\/a> to eligible Kansas small businesses to promote business growth and expansion. Funding is for business development opportunities that include equipment purchases, repairs, and marketing efforts. The grant targets areas in commercial corridors.<\/li>
    6. Lastly, grants of up to $10,000<\/strong><\/a> to eligible Kansas nonprofits, government agencies, and tribal entities for activities that benefit residents. Funding is for programs and projects within the focus areas of education, human services, environment, children and youth, housing, health, animals, arts and culture, and community development.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
