It may be as a school guidance counselor, helping students decide what (ultimately) will be their career path. Or, a child welfare specialist, ensuring children are in the life setting best suited to meet their needs. It could also be a crisis counselor, helping people deal with an immediate need or emergency situation. It might even be a medical social worker, often helping families make life and death decisions on behalf of their loved ones. They hold our very lives in their capable hands. They deserve our praise, don’t you agree?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. There are grants to state, local, and tribal governments and tribal organizations for criminal-justice\/mental-health-agency collaborative projects<\/strong><\/a>. Applicants are advised that required registrations must be completed prior to applying. Moreover, funding is for programs that support cross-system collaboration to improve public safety responses and outcomes for individuals with mental health Disorders (MHDs) or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (MHSUDs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  4. Awards to eligible nonprofits and enterprises in recognition of outstanding sustainability projects<\/strong><\/a>. Funding areas of interest include food, health, energy, water, climate action, and global high schools. Applicants must present a lasting plan to further deploy their solution and scale up their impact.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. There are grants to faculty members at Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) and researchers at nonprofits, government agencies, and for-profits for conservation research<\/strong><\/a>. Past grants have supported organizations serving the community in the areas of nutrition, seniors, youth, and community services.
