Funding provides resources to implement <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/163297\/grants-to-ohio-schools-to-promote-recycling-and-environmental-awareness.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recycling and litter prevention<\/a><\/strong> programs. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grants to nonprofits, government entities, universities, and school districts to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/192221\/grants-to-michigan-nonprofits-agencies-ihes-and-school-districts-in-eligible-regions-to-enhance-the-lives-of-residents.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>enhance the lives<\/strong><\/a> of local residents. Funding promotes health and prosperity for residents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are grants <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/179733\/grants-to-michigan-nonprofits-churches-schools-and-agencies-in-eligible-areas-for-community-benefit-programs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>up to $5,000<\/strong><\/a> to nonprofits, churches, schools, agencies, and governmental units for community benefit projects. Focus areas include community development, community needs, the environment and parks. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nonprofits may receive funding for activities to promote the recycling of rubber tires. Funding provides incentives to manufacturers and processors to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/172941\/grants-to-california-businesses-and-nonprofit-entities-for-product-development-using-recycled-rubber-materials.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>market recycled products<\/strong><\/a>, prevent tire dumping, and divert waste tires from landfills, thereby benefiting the environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grants to nonprofits for projects and programs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/173650\/grants-to-illinois-nonprofits-for-programs-that-support-healthy-communities-in-eligible-regions.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>promoting healthy communities<\/strong><\/a>. Funding supports community engagement, health and wellbeing, environmental protection, and economic and agricultural development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$1,000 to nonprofits, for-profit businesses, government agencies, schools, and school districts for recycling and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/155247\/grants-to-illinois-nonprofits-for-profits-agencies-and-schools-for-recycling-efforts.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">waste reduction initiatives<\/a><\/strong> in eligible locations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grants to eligible community groups and neighborhood organizations for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/174224\/grants-to-ohio-community-groups-and-neighborhood-organizations-for-community-betterment-projects-in-eligible-locations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>community betterment activities\/projects<\/strong><\/a> to enhance the quality of life for residents. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are grants and in-kind services to eligible homeowner associations and neighborhood groups for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/176620\/grants-and-in-kind-services-to-virginia-homeowner-associations-and-neighborhood-groups-for-local-neighborhood-beautification-projects.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>neighborhood beautification projects<\/strong><\/a>. Funding  enhances environmental sustainability and an improved sense of community through community planning. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grants of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/155247\/grants-to-illinois-nonprofits-for-profits-agencies-and-schools-for-recycling-efforts.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>up to $1,000<\/strong><\/a> to eligible nonprofits, for-profit businesses, government agencies, schools, and school districts for recycling and waste reduction initiatives. Funding is for source reduction activities, purchasing collection containers and recycling equipment, and promoting waste reduction education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In addition, there is also grant funding for activities in the areas of education, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/178698\/grants-to-usa-nonprofits-in-multiple-states-for-education-disaster-preparedness-and-relief-and-recycling.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">disaster preparedness<\/a><\/strong> and relief, and recycling.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-df56d56c-9839-4b76-b742-7075a48b2560\"><strong>Additional Grants and In-kind Support for <em>KAB<\/em> and Other Community Services<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"block-9254a527-e41f-4b15-b068-3d8304267d48\">\n<li>Grants to nonprofits to promote <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/180276\/grants-to-illinois-nonprofits-to-promote-healthy-and-sustainable-communities.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>healthy\/sustainable communities<\/strong><\/a>. Funding is for programs and projects in the focus areas of environmental stewardship, nutrition, and physical activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are grants to nonprofits, government agencies, and schools for programs and projects that will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/180320\/grants-for-michigan-nonprofits-government-agencies-and-schools-to-enhance-the-quality-of-life-for-residents-in-eligible-locations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>enhance the quality-of-life<\/strong><\/a> to benefit communities. Funding is to enrich the local quality of life for residents. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grants and in-kind donations to eligible neighborhood associations and municipalities for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/180687\/grants-to-nebraska-neighborhood-associations-and-municipalities-for-community-cleanup-projects-in-eligible-locations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>community cleanup projects<\/strong><\/a>. In addition to financial support, the funding source will also provide safety vests, gloves, tools, and other items relevant to the cleanup.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grants of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/159538\/grants-to-usa-canada-and-international-nonprofits-schools-and-groups-for-public-food-garden-projects.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>up to $1,000<\/strong><\/a> to eligible nonprofits, schools, and groups for a wide variety of public garden projects. Funding is for food garden projects that serve community members in need. Eligible projects include youth gardens, community gardens, community farms, and food bank gardens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are grants to land trusts, nonprofits, public agencies, homeowners associations, and civic groups, together with an award to a land trust representative, for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/140847\/grants-to-maryland-land-trusts-nonprofits-public-agencies-and-groups-for-land-conservation-and-community-stewardship-activities.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>land-conservation\/community-stewardship activities<\/strong><\/a>.
