Funding supports organizations working in the focus areas of mental and behavioral health; safety and well-being; and economic opportunity and security.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are grants to eligible Massachusetts nonprofits to address <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/174972\/grants-to-massachusetts-nonprofits-to-meet-the-needs-of-local-communities-in-eligible-regions.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">local community needs<\/a><\/strong>. Funding supports economic development and entrepreneurship, urban environmental sustainability, and violence reform. Funding is for large-scale capital improvements to promote discreet, identifiable projects that meet specific needs and will be a &#8216;game-changing asset&#8217; for an organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are grants to eligible Massachusetts nonprofits, government agencies, schools, and faith-based organizations <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/205190\/grants-to-massachusetts-nonprofits-agencies-and-schools-to-benefit-residents-in-eligible-communities.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">to benefit residents<\/a><\/strong>. Also included will be the areas of housing, healthy aging, transportation, and economic security.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Additional Community and Economic Development Grants for Massachusetts<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grants of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/180782\/grants-to-massachusetts-nonprofits-to-enhance-the-quality-of-life-in-eligible-communities.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">up to $5,000<\/a><\/strong> to eligible Massachusetts nonprofits to enhance the quality of life in eligible communities. Funding supports programs directly benefiting local residents focusing in the areas of affordable housing, human services, and community development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are grants to Massachusetts nonprofits to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/187065\/grants-to-new-hampshire-massachusetts-new-york-and-california-nonprofits-to-enhance-the-welfare-of-residents.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">enhance the welfare<\/a><\/strong> of residents. Funding supports programs in the areas of health, education, youth, and community building. Priority will be for underrepresented populations and communities. In addition, a percentage of annual giving will be for discretionary projects of interest to the board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In addition, grants of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/168270\/grants-to-massachusetts-grassroots-nonprofits-in-eligible-areas-for-social-activism-projects.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">up to $4,000<\/a><\/strong> to eligible Massachusetts grassroots nonprofits for social activism projects. Funding supports initiatives addressing the root cause of poverty and injustice, as well as projects encouraging local leadership development and community building.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grants to eligible Massachusetts nonprofits for projects<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/177149\/grants-to-massachusetts-and-rhode-island-nonprofits-in-eligible-regions-for-community-projects-needs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">addressing community needs<\/a><\/strong>. New applicants must fill out a preliminary application prior to submitting a full proposal. Areas of interest include housing, economic development, education, and financial literacy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are grants of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grantwatch.com\/grant\/177475\/grants-to-massachusetts-nonprofits-to-promote-self-sufficiency-for-economically-disadvantaged-families.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">up to $25,000<\/a><\/strong> to eligible Massachusetts nonprofits for programs promoting self-sufficiency for economically disadvantaged families. Funding supports the focus areas of economic development, education, arts and culture, health and wellness, and social and civic services.
